District

Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends of SEPTA,

On behalf of Wantagh SEPTA, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your children to an exciting school year. Please join us at our meetings and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

SEPTA is a parent/teacher/student association that supports Elementary, Middle, and High School families. We address the issues of students whose learning needs require the support of Special Education and Related Services (OT/PT/Speech/Resource Room/out-of-district placement). SEPTA provides a forum for parents to share their concerns as well as a resource for information about the learning styles and needs of students.

Reasons to Join SEPTA:

  • You care about the quality of education for your child.
  • You believe every individual child should enjoy the same rights, access to education, and opportunity to lead a full and productive life regardless of ability or disability.
  • You have a child with special needs.
  • You know a child who has special needs.
  • You want to help make a difference in the life of a child.

Our programs benefit both students that receive and do not receive services!

Please remember, you are your child's best advocate. We encourage and welcome all parents to support us by becoming a SEPTA Member as all of our children benefit from your membership. Membership is open to everyone! Your support as a member is invaluable to our organization.

Thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to working with you throughout the school year.

Sincerely,
Wantagh SEPTA
