The teachers of the Wantagh Schools' English and Reading Departments are committed to enhancing our students' appreciation and understanding of literature and communication, by promoting literacy and providing students with an education of the highest quality in the English language.  We encourage students to think critically and creatively by exploring a variety of authors, genres, and mediums and challenging them to read, analyze, and discuss the words of others.
