Parents are encouraged to support learning by:

• Reading to your child in English and in your language. It is important for students to be literate in both languages
• Talking about school
• Becoming familiar with your new community and using every opportunity for language development
• Visiting the Wantagh Public Library and learning about the resources available for you and your child.
