Students Explore Over 40 Colleges & Universities at Annual Mini College Fair
Juniors and seniors filed in one by one into the general purpose room where the annual mini-college fair at Wantagh High School took place on September 10 and 17. November 1st is just around the corner marking the official start of college application season before Decision Day next spring. The Guidance Department at Wantagh High School is doing all that it can to ensure the next round of graduates have access to the opportunities available to them.
The fair brought approximately 40 colleges and universities over the two-week period giving students the opportunity to speak with representatives from institutions as close as Adelphi, Molloy, and LIU to those as far away as UMass Boston, University of South Carolina to name a few.
While some students may not know what their next step will be, being able to speak with somone or pick up literature is the perfect thing to get them started.
